What are the candles made from?

We use soy wax to make all of our candles and wax melts.

The soy beans used to make our wax are grown and processed in Europe (unlike most soy candles on the market, which use South American soy). Our soy wax is non - GMO, renewable and biodegradable.

We don't use wax additives, so our candles are free from palm oil, beeswax, and animal derivatives. Each candle is hand poured and the finishing touch is a wooden wick which is centered by hand.

Our Fragrances

We use blends of both naturally derived essential oils and fragrance oils to create our scents.

Fragrance oils are man-made, but are completely safe, providing unbeatable scent throw and complex aromas. Our fragrances are carefully selected and thoroughly tested, to ensure they are of the highest quality possible.

All of our fragrances are phthalate free, free from animal derivatives and cruelty free.

Are your products vegan & cruelty free?

Yes. All of our products are both vegan & cruelty free. This means they do not contain any animal derivatives, and have not been tested on animals.

We only purchase from suppliers who do not test on animals, and ensure the same standards from the brands we stock.

Why use a wooden crackle wick?

So why use a wooden wick? They have a fast burn pool formation for excellent hot scent throw so your candle smells amazing. They don’t smoke during the burn cycle. There is no carbon build up or wick mushrooming. And they produce a soft crackling sound when burning which adds another dimension to your candle. All products are handmade in England with the finest attention to detail.

Is there an ideal time i should burn my candle?

We recommend letting it burn for no more than 3-4 hours at a time due to the temperature that the wax and glass will reach. This is purely from a safety point of view.

How can i make my candle last longer?

The key to extending the life of your candle is to trim the wick. The more wick that is exposed the bigger the burn pool (the amount of liquid candle produced) and in turn the more wax will be burnt. Simply keeping your wick trimmed before lighting will give you extra hours of enjoyment. See 'Candle Care'.
